Welcome to my new blog. I am a massive football (Soccer) fan. Through an unfortunate accident of birth I support Watford in the English Championship, but I follow football from around the world. What has supporting Watford got to do with following football I hear you ask. Very funny!

I write at various online sites about mainly English football but other footy from around the world as well. I will give an honest opinion about current situations and I will sometimes look back nostalgically at a bygone age that was nowhere near as good as it is now, but old fellers like me pretend it was better.

Football is a very subjective subject and I fully understand that some people will disagree with some of my opinions. Some will argue intelligently against the points I make and enter into a reasoned debate and some will call me an idiot and tell me to stop writing. That’s OK. If we all agreed on everything then Football would be boring.
